Obverse: Bust of Bacchus facing right, wearing wreath of ivy leaves. Legend in right field in Oscan script reads MUTIL·EMBRATUR (Mutilus, Imperator). [Incidentally this is also the first use of the title on a coin - the start of the Imperatorial Era in earnest!]
Reverse: The Italic Bull goring to death the Roman Lupa [She-Wolf]. Exergual legend in Oscan script, readingC·PAAPI (Caius Papius). [Political statements don't get clearer than this!!]
